Barnard Class of 2021

@penngirlpending thank you so much! im gonna call admissions right now to discuss what materials i can send! ill probably accept holyoke and see if barnard pulls me off. thanks again!

My daughter was accepted to Barnard and SP(2)
Does anyone know if SP(2) is tied to an FA award or is that separate?

Thanks!

Congrats to your daughter @HailuMu! I was accepted as well and to my understanding, SP2 is separate from the FA award. I already got my FA package (was accepted ED), so SP2 won’t change a thing.

Thanks!! @RiotInMe and Congratulations!!

Rejected lol

@azashadow girlll i’m right there with you

@HailuMu I was also accepted to SP2!!! Hurray! Congrats to your daughter

@kendizzle congrats to you too!! Great accomplishment. Seems like there are just a handful of recipients.

does anyone know if like other schools barnard’s admitted students/pre open house day will be payed for? like for washu st louis they fly people out

@1989swiftie girl yes!! are you planning on going to ucla ???

@daisieswhatever I’d like to but I’m OOS so no aid. Waiting on UCB, Columbia and Brown but those are all total longshots.

@1989swiftie Let me know how it goes! I’m waiting on Princeton, Georgetown and Stanford but I have like no chance there so Im focusing on where Ive been accepted.

I have a friend waiting for UCB too. Good luck hun!!

Thanks and same to you @daisieswhatever!

Congrats to everyone who got in!

I was rejected after being deferred ED. 4.4W/1400/730SAT’s

accepted!!!

@rtl000 the admitted students events are free! all you do is RSVP for them! the only thing that costs is transportation to get there/back home

hey i am an international student admitted rd i’m really excited about attending barnard next year but my package hasn’t arrived yet and my financial aid portal hasn’t been updated :frowning: has anybody received notification about fin aid yet?

@mimimo789 yes, i know 2 girls that transferred to Columbia College from Barnard and I also know 1 girl that transferred from Columbia College TO Barnard! Don’t really see the point in either transfer since it’s all the same university and you get the same experience though, but hope that helps

@annabellamaria I live in the US and just received my fin aid letter via snail mail with the official acceptance package. You’ll probably get it in the mail in a few days. My fin aid portal hasn’t been updated either FWIW.
