@cmaries what did she say?
NYU broke from their typical schedule and released a bunch of decisions today, so hopefully, Barnard does the same and we hear back at least by the end of the week.
Guys, as stressful as it is not having answers and having other deadlines to meet, these admissions counselors really aren’t the bad guys. They’re human and literally everything has been thrown out of whack cause of the virus. For those who have other acceptance deadlines, many colleges are open to extending those if you email them. We just need a little patience, they’re not dragging this process out intentionally to mess with us, the decisions will be here soon!
Also, it’s definitely not just Barnard that hasn’t finished releasing decisions-- some schools haven’t even started! Just try to stay calm, y’all.
yeah USC hasn’t released many and NYU isn’t done yet, either. They probably have a careful method to decision releases during this time, we just can’t see it. Staying hopeful, and calm!
I just wish they would push back the decision deadline for attending. If they’re going to send out decisions later, then I’m going to have to make a decision later as well and am not going to be able to decide where to go by the 15th.
AN UPDATE IS OUT!
I JUST GOT IT
It just came out. Rejected.
I didn’t get anything still!
anyone not hear???
Rejected as well
Same here didn’t get it today either. My chances are getting smaller and smaller as these waves come out. It’s interesting since I thought I applied quite early and with no financial aid. Anyways, congrats to those who got in, or even received a decision! Best of luck to everyone at this point, and I hope you all will receive the decision you want.

Can someone help me out? Is it a good idea to send over an additional recommendation letter? Will I have to send it through a school official?
Rejected! Tbh I think my stats were fine (sophomore with 3.93/1480, good ECs mostly relevant to my major) but I needed FA for at least half the cost. Gl to those still waiting!
I’m sorry, but I am sure you all will end up in the right place for you and succeed! Good luck to everyone.
For the people who heard back, did you get an email first?
@colb1234567 weirdly enough, I didn’t receive emails from half the schools I applied to about portal updates?? So no!
I was also waitlisted- any advice would be helpful!
I just got rejected. My EFC was only $8,000 per year so I didn’t expect to get in, but I am still really sad. I thought everything else might make up for it but I guess not. Congratulations to everyone who was admitted!
