Hi everyone! So I am currently a freshman at a 4 year university and I’ve recently began thinking about transferring for sophomore year. My GPA in high school was not the best (3.86 uw, 4.0 w) and since I just started my freshman year, I don’t really have a college GPA yet. My SAT score was quite horrendous (like 1860 or something like that), and I took two SAT II tests (Japanese - 720, Literature - I can’t remember but it wasn’t very good). Since Barnard requires SAT scores, should I retake them now or just send my high school scores? In general, how do universities feel about college students retaking SAT/ACT for transfer purposes? Thanks!
You should post this in the Barnard forum.
I am not sure about re-taking the SAT. What Barnard will be interested in, though, is how you are doing where you are now…how involved you are, and what you have to offer as a potential member of the Barnard community–and what Barnard has to offer you that your current school does not.
