Since yesterday was the deadline for early action, I figured this would be a good place to post acceptances. Probably best to post info so other can assess their chances (in-state vs out) test scores, GPA, etc.
To all, good luck!

Counselor: I’m guessing it’s really great because my counselor and I have an awesome relationship! I filled out her 9-Page rec letter sheet and she told me I “provided a great amount of information to write me an amazing rec letter”

Chem/Bio Teacher: Let me read it before turning in. Wrote a very strong letter as well. Had her for two years.

Did anyone hear back from Barrett?
Probably a little early. If the student goes to their my.asu website, they can see the progress. After the check box of application completed is done by ASU, the only remaining checkboxes are ‘moved to review’ and ‘decision’ rendered. My D is still waiting for it to be moved to review. So we wait! Good luck.
Thanks.
Good luck!! I am a Freshman here at ASU, also in Barrett. I remember being so antsy to hear my admission decision. Best of luck!!!
Today my D application checklist has ‘Moved to Review’ marked off.
My D’s status has been moved to review, but no decision yet. Got a 30 on the ACT the first time she took it and a 32 most recently. The My ASU site has already updated her test scores and scholarship amount. Looking at Texas A&M (awaiting decision), Arkansas Honors College (accepted), SMU (awaiting decision), and a few others, but Barrett is close to the top of her list right now. Anybody else heard back yet?
No, nothing yet.
In. Review
No status change as of yet. The email correspondence we received from Barrett Admissions said she would be notified on Dec 16th. It did not sound like they intended to notify prior to then, so I guess it is just wait and see then. Interestingly enough, she received another e-mail from a Barrett recruiting person a couple days ago that was basically an offer to pay for or subsidize the flight cost for her to visit Barrett. I am guessing maybe that was automatically triggered when she submitted her newest ACT score earlier in November, but maybe not. First score was a 30, second score was a 32. She visited Barrett as part of a total ASU and WP Carey tour back in September. I would like to think they had some kind of record of her visit, but maybe not since she received the message offering to fly her out there for a tour.
I’m visiting Barrett tomorrow in that offer! I’m a National Merit Semifinalist and I’m super excited to explore the college!
Enjoy your visit. We liked most everything about it. Just hoping for admission now.
We were not very impressed with the generic ASU tour and info session (pretty bad speakers and tour guides honestly), were much more impressed with the WP Carey presentation and information session, and REALLY liked Barrett. Overall, she really liked the feel of the entire ASU campus, especially WP Carey and Barrett. She’s already been offered the max OOS scholarship offer based on her 32 ACT score, but if she does not get accepted to Barrett, she will most likely not attend ASU.
I just got my decision today. I was accepted! Good luck to everyone else applying.
Curious if you are in-State or out of state @Dax123 ? Congrats!
@ignoramusdad Thanks!
My friend and I are the only ones I know of who got decision letters so far. We are both in-state.
@Dax123 You actually got a letter in the mail, or did you simply check the my.asu portal? My D in -state and the portal says she’s still in- review, the decision rendered box is not yet checked.
@ignoramusdad I got an email from them and they checked the decision box in my portal. I have not gotten a letter yet. Did your daughter apply by the November 1st date?
