i raised my CR score by 60 pts. after doing the Barron's 2400 book! the strategies really work!!

i don't believe in any of those strategies. I think u should make ur own in doing a lot of practice tests. I improved my cr 180 points and writing 150 points that way

I think the focus of the Barrons 2400 was just not to overthink the CR... I looked at it a little bit the first week of the summer, telling myself I'd practice alllll summer. I didn't lol, but the idea is very important I think, you have to REALLY make sure the support is in there for the CR passage questions. I don't know whatever little tricks there were, didn't look at it too closely, but it looked good from what I saw.

well, what really worked for me was breaking the passages into smaller sections.

I like to annotate (increase of 140)

Do the questions as you read the passage (increased my score 100 pts from 560 to 660)

the barron's method REALLY helped me improved.
dividing the passage into sections works well for me.

I raised 120 pts, by studying all books except for Barons.
(650 -> 770)

i studied nothing and got 720 the first time i did it.

work that one out.

I don't know if I can attribute my score to this, but Barron's 2400 was the only real book I used (crammed for one week) and I actually did get the 2400... raised my score 330 pts. from my last test.
