Got the Barrons 2400 Book.

How should I use this? What is it best for

Nothing, I didn't find it of much use.

best for people scoring 2100-2400. The book won't help you if you're not scoring in the 700s in all of the sections, trust me. Some people say you should get use to harder problems, but if you're an average scorer, then none of the problems in the B2400 would make any sense.

^The book primarily provides strategies, if you are scoring 2100-2400, then you already have a set of strategies that work for you, especially if you score 700 per section.

Well if your scoring in the 2100-2400, you'd want challenging questions. The point is to be challenged, but if you ain't hot, you gotta stay away from the flame. Son.

I liked their CR section quite a bit, although i find the underlining and symbols kind of useless.

^I prefer accuracy over questions that aren't going to be on the SAT. The practice questions it provides are sub par in my opinion. You can find better reading practice from the 10RS and the math has some good questions on their practice sections, but there are some that aren't even going to be on the SAT. There are more accurate sources to get math practice from as well. It's not really a practice book, but a strategy one. If it works for you, then great, keep using it. Some people, like me, don't really like it.

I score around 2100-2200 on my practice tests (QAS), so it's not that I don't understand the questions, it's that I value accuracy more.
It's just a preference of opinion.

Ok, so I have this book as well. And I must tell you, I quite liked the CR and Writing sections, even though these are my weakest.
I love math and I usually score around 700, but this book didn't help me at all!
I got the most random questions wrong and I began to doubt myself, I truly thought I lost my talent for math.
After I took another practice test with a score of 700, I decided to n

When you finish with all the other books,it wont hurt you to try the 2400 book ,but do not start with it.

@ shiomi, I agree that the questions are terrible and inaccurate, but I think the tips are quite helpful

i started w/ the critical reading section today, n it seemed pretty helpful, i really liked it- but if ur not in that upper range- i'd say at least above 650, then return it....i'd start w/ kaplan workbooks first
