Barron's Practice Tests vs. Real Tests

I'm sure this has been posted on here hundreds of times, but, I would love to get a more personalized answer.

This year (June) I am taking the Math II and Chem SAT II's. I have been taking countless Barron's practice tests, and have been reading up on every chapter, but am not all that impressed with what I have been getting.

Math II - I've hit a bump, and keep scoring around a 700-740. I know this isn't bad, however, I really do want to hit that 800.

Chem - I have consistently hit all 650's. I am NOT expecting in my wildest dreams to get an 800 on Chem, but I really want to hit the 700 mark.

So, what I'm asking is, are these scores achievable?

Does a 700 on Barron's Math = an 800 on the real test?
Does a 650 on Barron's Chem = a 700 on the real test?

barrons math 800 is 700 on real test.
barrons chem 800 is 650 on real test.

So you are saying Barrons is easier? That goes against everything I have read.

Oh my god that is the most erroneous “advice” I had ever heard in my entire life

I dont know about Chem, but I used Barrons for Math 2 and I was getting 750ish on all of my practice tests (a 780 on my collegeboard practice test). When I went in to take the real thing in November I found it was so much easier than the practice and I got an 800. A low 700 on Barrons can easily be a high 700 - 800 on the real thing. Good Luck!

According to @sonofgod908, taking the SAT II Practice tests automatically means you can’t receive a 800. That’s ridiculous, don’t listen to him.
Please answer my question!

Barron’s is notorious for being more difficult than the actual test. In fact, they deliberately cover more topics than what is necessary. As Piscium123 pointed out, if you’re getting in the 700s in Barrons, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to get high 700s-800 on the real thing.

barron’s is significantly harder than the actual test. just my opinion

Okay. Thanks everyone for the help! I was scared when the other comment said Barron’s was easier haha.
