I am currently using the Barrons book to review SAT II math. I found it sort of difficult, and i usually end up with a raw score with -5 to -8 (ran out of time once because i was not used to my new calc, but i solved that problem)... But i also read that the Barrons book is supposed to be harder.... so about how much should i be adding to my raw score on average if i wanted it to be like the real test?

Close to 100 according to the people here. No personal experience on the matter yet.

I’m using Barrons too and I found it very difficult!! All of my friends were telling me that the sat II for math is really easy…but now i’m worried because I’m missing quite a lot on these practice tests

-5 on the actual test is an 800, and Barrons is a lot harder. You’re set.

You are definitely in good shape with only missing 5-8.

Don’t get too confident and stop prepping now. Keep taking tests and reviewing and you should have an easy 800.
