Is the Barrons book a good preparation book if i want to get an 800?

by the way i mean SAT II MATH II

Yes, I used it and I got an 800. The practice tests in this book are more difficult than the actual SAT II so you should be set if you study from it.

They're so hard that it's not worth it. You'll waste your time learning material not on the test. Use PR, much more realistic.

I definitely recommend the book if you want to get a perfect score. I used this book and got an 800. Be wary of the questions though. Make sure you study a few weeks before the test date and memorized your trigonometric identities.

Good luck.

If you have trouble with math I would recommend PR. But if you are very good, and are simply looking for something to keep your mind sharp, Barrons is an excellent resource. Though I dislike the fact that most of the problems require calculators, the few that do not really test your application skills (and that is what the math II is about)

i don't recommend barron's. it's way too hard and is not at all similar to the real SAT II. same with the meylani book.

use the PR book. it's really good.

I'd recommend the Barron's. It certainly is much harder than the actual test, but practicing with those tests helps a lot.
