Barron's Writing and CR Workbook

i didn't buy the CR books because after going through a few like Kaplan (EWW) and McGraw Hill, ive concluded that there is no practice book but the blue book that can help you with that. NONE because these test preps can't duplicate the Passage types and questions. :(

I think everybody should go read my comment on the other forum discussing this, I think it's the IS IT POSSIBLE TO STUDY TOO MUCH FOR THE SAT? one. I got an 800 on CR and I think I might have some good tips if any of you are interested, they're on that thread.

Candidly speaking, there are no observable differences between the strategies Barron or Kaplan or PR offers. I mean no book can really give us strategies that can make a real difference ( all they advise are kinda like this: Read the passages then question, or skim through but try to get a hold of the passages blah blah ). Haha, to me, the only precious thing all these sorts of books provide is full-length practices. The more practice tests a book contains, the more valuable it's to me :D

^ My thoughts EXACTLY, man. Exactly. You just have to worry about the quality of the practice tests.

What is the blue book?
