<p>Reagan might have agreed with you. But their visions for America were quite similar in a great number of respects. In any case, Reagan went on to serve two brilliant and historic terms as President, and Goldwater failed miserably.</p>

<p>That's because Barry Goldwater stood for something most americans fear . . . freedom.</p>

<p>freedom=responsibility and americans fear responsibilty more than death.</p>

<p>Anyone who funds a science scholarship is automatically awesome. :D</p>
