Based on Superscore...

would it be ideal to take SAT 3 (or 2 disregarding writing) times so that you focus entirely on doing well in one section?

(hypothetical scores)
1st time - math: 500 730 510
2nd time - CR: 680 660 500
*3rd time - writing: 510 700 590

*only if the writing is necessary

superscore: 680 730 590 = 2000
or without writing: 680 730 = 1410

I think that to do that is a poor strategy and is likely to hurt more than help – even if superscoring is done blindly by the college. Focus on doing your best on all sections of each test. Ideally keep the number of tests down to no more than 2.

I was actually thinking of doing the same thing… XD

…i bet everyone on CC will say it’s a bad idea though. :p
