<p>Hi - If we visit campus when a basketball game is on, is it possible to scalp tickets outside the game? I assume my son can't get in the student section, but how about regular tickets?</p>
<p>Yes, scalping tickets outside the stadium is definitely doable for every game except UNC. Well, it’s still possible for UNC, it will just cost a lot of money. Wear Duke gear and be near the Iron Dukes entrance as individuals will be much more likely to sell you the tickets (at face or below typically) if they think you’re actually going to the game and cheering for Duke. Season ticket holders try to avoid selling tickets to others who are just going to re-sell the seats or to opposing fans. If it’s getting close to tip-off, don’t fret. The closer you get to gametime, the cheaper the seats will be. You may not even find them until 10 minutes or so after tipoff, but will still get to see the majority of the game. Obviously, there’s some luck/chance involved, and demand will depend on the matchup and the date/time of the game. Good luck!</p>
