BB Scoring is Confusing...

Hello,

So, I am going to be a junior this Septemeber. I have taken about 3 practice tests in the BB, and for one of the tests my Critical Reading score was "540-600." What do I do with these Scaled Scores (including math and writing)? Do I find the average? So would my CR score be 570? One more question. Do people usually get a higher score on their real Sat than their PSAT?

Thank you in Advance!

Yes, a good estimate for your predicted SAT score would be to take the average; the range is just to account for possible curves on the real SAT.

The questions on the SAT and the PSAT are pretty much the same, but people sometimes find that the curve on the PSAT is much harsher, resulting in higher SAT scores. That was definitely my experience. Also, most people tend to take the SAT after the PSAT, so improvement can certainly account for an increase in scores.
