Is anyone having difficulties withdrawing from BC? I’ve filled in the form and I keep getting a prompt window that says exactly:

Error: Blank Fields
The following fields were left blank in your submission form:
I WISH TO WITHDRAW MY APPLICATION.

This fields must be filled in before you can successfully submit the form.
Please return to the form again.

Which is followed by the next prompt window:

At least one required field was empty on export. Please fill in required fields (highlighted) before continuing.

I have reviewed my form for the last 10 minutes, and asked a friend to do the same. I have also searched for the phrase “I wish to withdraw my application” both capitalized and uncapitalized. Its driving me nuts. How on earth is this supposed to work? Next to lying and adding false identification such as a false middle initial, I simply do not know what to do from this point. So frustrated… I really want to submit my form. Tonight. Preferably.

I am having the exact same problem!!! I gave up after about five tries…

I think I’m probably going to have to call them… blech

Its good to know I’m not crazy and that someone is having the same problem.

My son is having the exact same problem!

the same thing happened to me. i’ve tried multiple times on multiple days. if bc can’t handle making a proper withdrawal form, then i’m not going to bother going out of my way to notify them some other way. i guess they’ll figure it out may 1 when they don’t get my deposit!

Mind me asking where everyone is going since you are withdrawing from BC. Its my top choice but im still deciding.

^^ To a school that gives MONEY !! I got into 6 schools, and BC is off my list because of lousy Financial Aid. They are major cheapskates compared to the rest of my list: Villanova, Tufts, Brown, Georgetown, Emory. I’ve got it down to three of those at this point, and still bouncing back and forth amongst them…

Should be interesting at BC admissions this Spring if their withdrawal website is busted…

alright, i had the same problem a while ago, so i called them. they basically told me i had to update my adobe reader to the newest version available. once you do that, you should have no problem submitting the withdrawal form

sorry, that solution doesn’t work. i just clicked on the check for updates button in my adobe and i have the most updated version. plus the problem is the bc form wants us to check off a box that doesn’t exist. i don’t think i newer version of adobe would suddenly make another piece of the form appear…
thanks for the suggestion though.

when i updated my adobe, a completely new withdrawal form popped up when i clicked the link. that new one has the “i wish to withdraw my application” box to check off. do you have version 10 of adobe reader?

I looked in the packet BC sent, which says to go to [Enrollment Forms - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/enrollmentforms) to find the withdrawal form, but I can’t seem to find it. Help?

log into agora, click on application status, and three links should put up, one of them being withdraw your application

Yeah I’m having the same problem - but maybe we just need to update our readers like bluesteel says. I’m going to try that today.

haha, i really don’t know if that’ll solve the problem, because my withdrawal didn’t officially go through. it’s listed as received, but i can still log into agora. my case is a little different from everyone else’s, though, because i called them when i was having problems and they accidentally submitted a form stating that i wanted to accept an offer on the waitlist instead of withdraw my acceptance.

It’s still not working for me. I just want to give up.
