bed dimensions

so i read here:
<a href="http://appl.housing.ucsb.edu/contracts/openingmaincampus.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://appl.housing.ucsb.edu/contracts/openingmaincampus.pdf</a></p>

that the bed dimensions are 36x80x6

but my bed bath and beyond stuff all say 39x80. did ucsb make a typo? i sure hope so.

if anything your bed sheets will only be a little bigger so that way you can put then on easier. and trust me this is a perk :) bc nothing sucks more then sheets that are too small ..

Did you order from the catalog they sen you?

That's way too expensive; like $200 for some sheets, towels, or whatever.

they just try everything to rip money from us >.>*. making special-size beds so they can sell their bedsheets to us. And the expensive sets are so unnecessary... I had to order the 3-piece set for $19.95 which includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a pillow case, even though I only need one fitted sheet =(. they don't sell it separately.

I didn't know the bed dimensions until i saw this topic

You can get extra long twin sets at most stores. I got mine from Target. I'm not sure whether the published dimensions are correct or not but my set fit the standard mattresses in the dorms just fine.

^That's too late for me to know that >.<" I was tricked by the letter and the catalog they sent me, to buy stuff from them, grrrrr...
