<p>Yes, Twin XL sheets will work fine</p>
<p>I think they are all extra long twin. A thick TXL or regular Twin mattress pad/memory foam is highly recommended.</p>

<p>This is kinda off topic, but everywhere I see people saying we should bring our own lamps, but doesn’t the school provide desk lamps already?</p>

<p>Hey guys! This is a related, though somewhat ridiculous question… do you know how thick the mattresses are, by any chance? My mom wanted to get a mattress cover or something and wanted to know if they were 12" thick or less. Thanks!</p>

<p>Are the beds high enough to fit a large suitcase underneath? Or are we going to have to use bed lifters for that? (i know we aren’t supposed to lol, just asking)</p>
<p>oceanangel - probably not without the bed lifters. Some beds have drawers underneath so you can’t use bed lifters nor can you fit suitcase underneath. There is a shelf at the top of the closet though where you can put it.</p>
<p>My roommate and I unbunked our beds and stored our suitcases in the space beneath what used to be the top bunk. Our dorm also had a trunk room where you could store your suitcases, but I was too lazy to use that :P</p>

I wanted to store my extra clothes in the suitcases and store them under the bed so I don’t have to buy extra storage boxes…</p>

<p>Well judging from the pictures here, the bed frames seem to differ per room. Some beds are the kind we had in my dorm and you’ll have no trouble fitting a medium size suitcase under one of those. Others seem to be lofted; either way, you should be fine.</p>

<p>one last minute question! how cold do the dorm rooms get during the winter? I dunno what kind of bed cover to get…I have this comforter but it’s pretty thin :(</p>
<p>Heating in the dorms is amazing (though that probably differs somewhat from dorm to dorm). I never felt cold once during the winter in my room. You should be fine with whatever you bring from home.</p>
