NU bed sizes?

Uh...exactly how big are the beds at NU? Apparently according to NU distributed paraphernalia, my regular sheets won't fit and I have to blow another $100-$200 on bed sheets? ***? clever marketing scheme or is there some truth behind this?

actual measurements (in inches/cm/ft w/e) appreciated.

most college dorms have extra-long Twin size beds. They’re 5 in. (13 cm) longer than a regular twin.

You don’t have to order from the brochure, but you’ll need to get them probably; Department stores like Macy’s should have xlong twin sheets that are cheaper.

how many of the extra bed pads (egg crates, etc) do you think you can fit on a bed before the sheets wont fit anymore?

they sell TWIN XL at every store in the dorm section (target, walmart BB&B etc.)

this is the common size at college. it won’t cost you 100 - 200 bucks.

lol 200 bucks for sheets? they better be 500 tc egyptian cotton sheets if you’re paying 200 for them.

Yea i don’t know why they’re so expensive. I’m looking in the brochure from NU so it’s probably a clever means of getting me to give them more of my money.

Don’t pay any attention to that flyer.

I got it last year, and ignored it, went out and bought my own sheets, and gasp THEY FIT.

Just go buy some affordable sheets at Target or Wal-Mart.
