I've been watching the National Geographic Surviving West Point show and I'm curious about something. It follows a number of WP plebes--they should have graduated this spring. One it follows is named Rachael Price. I did a google search and her name comes up, but I can't find the link on the WP paper. Has anyone else watched it--does anyone know where there is a list of graduates for 2005? I want to know if these kids graduated!

I did the same thing after watching it! Ramona Fastow did graduate. She was actually in a newspaper article on post a few weeks before graduation. Veney also graduated, he was on the 60 Mins thing as well. As for the others, I am not sure. I was told that one of them came up on an Honor Code violation and was separated though.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that Fastow and Veney made it--I was rooting for them! Price bugged me...

Price seems to have made it--even though I never could open the actual link, they state that she was about to graduate. The one that seems to not have any mention is the footballer--Jay Kingsley... Brian Clymer is listed as being in Iraq in a "send mail to soldiers" site.

Saw a picture of Price at graduation. She made it.

If I recall correctly, the picture of Rachel Price at graduation was posted on the usma.edu site.

sorry to butt into your conversation. but i’ve been looking for that online and I can’t find it. Where did you guys watch it? A DVD? or maybe on cable?

Here you go:

I am responding way, way late in the game, but I would love to know more about what became of the cadets featured in ‘Surviving West Point.’ You said you saw a picture of Rachel Price at graduation, but her name does not come up in a search of WP grads. The same is true for Jay Kingsley and Ingrid Zegada-Frias. The others come up on the search. I found myself very much invested in each one of them as they struggled with WP and am sorry for those who worked so hard and didn’t make it.

I did find Brian Clymer - after fulfilling his military obligation he got an MBA from Harvard and now works for Boston Consulting Group.

When I get a chance I’ll look them up in the latest AOG book listing the graduates of West Point. It just arrived here a few weeks ago.

Im really glad you guys were talking about this, I was wondering the same thing. My question also though is that these kids seem so depressed. Like I know west point is pretty tuff, but they almost seemed along the lines of depressed, complasive and just over all sad. I They don’t reflect what west point really is in my opion

Ingrid Zwgada-Frias made it past A Day but did not graduate.

There is no “Jay” Kingsley listed as even making it past A Day but there is a “John” KIngsley who graduated in 2006–I doubt its the same person but it is possible he graduated a year late.

Rachel Price graduated in 2005. She branched Military intelligence and was assigned to 3rd ID in Ft Benning in 2005—I dont see any record after that.

Janson D. Kinsley, not Kingsley, from Manderin, Florida, did indeed graduate from West Point as a member of the Class of 2005. Although his last name may have been understood as “Kingsley” in the documentary, his actual last name is Kinsley, and his nickname “Jay” is in place of his first name “Janson.” Jay Kinsley just finished fulfilling his service obligation with the U.S. Army about a year ago, stepping down with the rank of Captain, and is now enrolled as a graduate student at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Teacher Education Program. He now has steadfast plans in becoming an educator.

Thanks for the update Stopper—one of the dangers of only being able to “hear” a name rather than see it lol.

Does anyone know if the Cow, at the time, Morgan Watt graduated from the Academy? His name wasn’t listed in the AOG online.

I had the pleasure of meeting the proud dad of Rachael Price. She is now CPT Neff; She will soon be a Major and is scheduled to take command of the USMA Prep school next year.

Rachel (Price) Neff now has a 2 sons and is with 10th Combat Avia*tion Brigade at Ft. Drum (as of 2010)
