My friend has a question about the economics department at Cal. He is more than likely going to get admitted. When he does, apparently the way the system works is you have to complete all 7 course requirements with a 3.0 to be admitted to the major. When they calculate the GPA to be admitted into the program, do they look at all 7 courses needed (even though 4 of them were completed at a CC) or do they just take the courses taken at Cal?

If you are not admitted to the major the first semester, can you keep taking economics courses and try again the following semester?
