<p>@chedshot: I think you’re one of those senior who are looking for the best route to become an engineer like me. I’m on the same boat. Plan A is going to SPSU for 4 years and get a degree there since their mechanical engineering program will be ABET-accredited this May, 2013. </p>
<p>Plan B: go to a cheap small RETP school, complete 2 years, then transfer to Tech.</p>
<p>I would never go to SPSU then transfer to Tech because SPSU is way more expensive than other small college. When you apply as transfer student to tech, I think Tech treats all of us the same thing no matter where you’re from. The only thing is GPA…</p>
<p>SPSU is not worth it if you go there and then transfer.</p>
