I got an email the other day about being relocated from my choice dorm due to an overwhelming number of males that they did not expect. I was so excited to get the PERFECT single suite that I had hoped for and now with this unfair change, they are possibly going to ruin that and force us to re-Roar… allowing us to choose from all the rooms that have already been picked over. Anyone else furious about this???
Did you get a personalized email specifically saying you were being relocated? My daughter got one saying some students need to be relocated and will be notified, just curious.
I, too, just received a general email saying that there’s a possibility of being relocated. I don’t think, form what the email said, that they’ve actually relocated anyone yet…right now they’ve closed ROAR down and are trying to figure out exactly how many more rooms they need/how the space needs to be divided.
If you do end up being relocated, @kidacat, it won’t be the end of the world. I’ll be annoyed if I have to be moved, because I really like my residence hall and room, but that’s how it goes. It’s no one’s fault; the school reserves x number of rooms for girls and x number for guys, and for some reason this year, they had more guys than girls than in previous years. But if they have to relocate people, then more rooms will become available so it’s not like you’ll just have to deal with the picked over rooms.
