I have a dilema...initially, I was accepted at Bentley and waitlisted at Babson. Now that I am enrolled at Bentley, I have gotten off of the wait list at Babson. I visited Babson again this weekend and found that I like the size and the campus at Bentley better. The tuition, with my financial aid, equals out at both schools, so tuition is not a factor in my decision. What I'm getting at, is that I don't know whether I should stick with Bentley or go to Babson. I am an undecided Business major, which doesn't help at all either. Which would you pick? Which school, in your opinion, is the better choice? THe statistics are with Babson, but from what I'm told, Bentley has a more relaxed atmosphere but does not lack the academic challenge.

Whatever you do don't listen to anything Dunkaroo says...

why is that

don't go to either. I chose Penn State because its better. A business specialty school will assure that u lack the well-rounded education. I was originally going to Bentley but soon realized it lacks a well-rounded education and sod oes Babson. Where else were u accepted if it was any place like penn state which is ranked in the top 25 for business and has a top 50 overall rank with other great programs u should go there.

lol @ don't listen to Dunkaroo.. so funny.

This is probably way to late... but I would suggest going to Babson because a Babson diploma will open doors that a Bentley diploma will not.

Romo may I ask to what other schools were you accepted to. I was initially set on Bentley until I actually decided to give Penn State a closer look and realized it was not only a great overall school but had a very strong business program as well.

I'm just curious to see what other schools you were accepted to and what made you pick a business specialty like Babson.

I was accepted to the University of Portland, University of Oregon, Linfield College, Babson, and Emory Oxford. I was rejected by Pepperdine and waitlisted by Emory (Main Campus), which was my number 1 and a heartbreaker when I was waitlisted :( So when April rolled around I had to decide from University of Oregon (with some scholarships) and Emory Oxford (where I could have transferred a year of college credit). Even though I could have gone to the Emory Business school junior year, Babson seemed like more of a fit when I visited it.

Dunkaroo, I'm curious now, what other schools did you get accepted to? And what kind of car do you drive?

I got accepted to URI, Bryant, Uconn, Bentley, Penn State, Clark, Babson, Providence and waitlist then accepted at Tulane.

The car I drive is a real crummy old Buick Lesabre. Why do you care?

Dunkaroo. On the Babson discussion board you said that you didn't even apply to Babson... and now you say that you got accepted. You also said in a previous message that you drive a Porshe Carrera GT... turns out that was a lie. This is why hollaratmecollege warned everyone to not listen to you.

Owned!!!!!!!!

Dunkaroo said he got accepted to Bentley, not Babson.

Read the post again.

Dunkaroo said, "I got accepted to URI, Bryant, Uconn, Bentley, Penn State, Clark, -Babson-, Providence and waitlist then accepted at Tulane."

Haha, Crack down on him.

oh, i see. sorry about that.

The Porsche Carrera GT is a car that costs upwards of $300,000. If I did drive one I wouldn't be in college.

I didn't apply to Babson. Reason I said I was accepted was because had I applied I would have been. They have a high acceptance rate of 37% and SAT scores run from high 1100's to low to mid 1300's. That was the only school that I was thinking about applying to but decided against.

Tulane just wasn't visually attractive and I'm not a fan of New Orleans.

Does anyone know the time it takes to get from Penn State to Philadelphia??

Nittany Lions hold proud the state of Pennsylvania!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol?????????

How far is Penn State from Philadelphia????? somebody help.

Hollarman at NYU is the economics major under the Stern School of Business?

on second thought nevermind. The economics major regardless of being in the Stern School of Business is still very highly regarded.
