Regent's??

Hi,

I interviewed for the Regent's Scholarship a few weeks ago and they told us that we had been accepted. But I'm curious because my test scores are terrible (1950 SAT and 30 ACT) and I applied as Undeclared Engineering. Are these scores unheard of low for being invited for the Regent's?

I'm not sure if I'm actually in now because I'm afraid that there was a computer error or something and I got added to the Regent's list by mistake.

Do you think I actually got accepted?

Thanks

It’s definitely not unheard of. If you look at some of the previous threads about Regents’ at Berkeley, you’ll see that there are definitely others who didn’t think they were qualified stat-wise, but still got it in the end. From what I was told, the decision is based on your essays as well.

And yes, if you were invited for an interview, then you’ve been admitted to Berkeley. I think scholarship decisions were released around this time last year.

Congratulations. :)
