So the UC website says you must take the Math II exam and a science SAT II exam.

Is there any way to transfer into the engineering program if you don't take a Science SAT II? I plan on taking Literature along with Math because I am not prepared to take a science.

Yes, it is possible to transfer, but you need to take the prereq courses and earn high grades. The prereq science/math courses are very hard.

In other words, it is a lot easier to take a science SAT II.

No, that's not exactly right. The problem is, it's harder to get into Berkeley with an engineering major. It depends on your other stats. if you have perfect grades and very high SATs, then it probably is easier to take a science SAT II. But if you are a borderline admit, you are better off applying L&S and trying to transfer later, since you might not get into engineering straight off.

I really can't find info on CC to this at all-- but if i apply to the Chemistry under the College of Chemistry, does it lower my chances of admission?

Also, is it hard to transfer from Chemistry from L&S into CoC? What about the other way around?
