<p>Perhaps we should start one for the incoming Class of '09. Obviously it would be a lot easier to find information and add new information into a central location. Granted I am an incoming freshman, it will require the help of the students already at Berkeley now to answer these questions.</p>

<p>I’m starting to see many of the same questions asked over and over such as:</p>

<p>1) How are the dorms at Berkeley?</p>

<pre><code>From what I’ve gathered: Unit 1 and Unit 2 are relatively the same and tend to be somewhat social. Unit 3 is the most social of the dorms while Foothill is the quiet area where it may be easier to study.

<p>I haven't seen it mentioned with any detail really. Would you care to add more info for it?</p>

<p>When are we supposed to apply for housing/dorms? I wanna get a good place in the lottery (if indeed the early worm gets the bird).</p>

<p>yeah they dont relaly talk much about clark kerr, i guess its because they dont want too many students knowing about it...............since its such a nice place................=P</p>

<p>Are we allowed to change majors at Berkeley within the same college (excluding Engineering)? I want to switch within the College of Chemistry from General Chemistry to Chemical Engineering.</p>
