This is super late but I was wondering about Clark Kerr Campus. For people who live in Clark Kerr, do you generally take the bus to get to campus/classes? The only thing that deters me from Clark Kerr is the distance, and now that I say this, I feel like I should just choose Clark Kerr haha. But also, I have read that Clark Kerr has its own gym. Does this gym have free weights and is it accessible (not too busy) for the most part? Also, I am leaning towards Kerr because it seems that the social scene is more around athletes and people who are likely to be involved in greek life. Is this true? To put it in a more blunt way, is the social scene at Kerr less “nerdy?” than the units counterparts?
It is about 0.95 mile from the middle of CKC to Evans Hall. You should be able to walk that. Or use it as an opportunity to get some running and hill climbing (on the way back) into your workout routine.
@ucbalumnus sweet thank you. that would be a bit of a walk for sure. and yea, that would be a solid idea for a nice warmup. however, if RSF is the only usable gym I may have to choose the units over kerr. I feel like the walk would be way too annoying when im going to the gym 3-4 times a week
