did anybody get in, wanting to major in PEIS (Political Economy of Industrial Societies)..if so, what were your stats?

dude, I haven't even heard of that major. Why not just major in political science...

Your provisional admission notice does not specify which major you're in. Once you have fulfilled the basic requirements you must apply when you are a student. Until then you remain an undecided undergraduate in a college (the college of arts and sciences for example).

because peis is apparently more about international issues and economics...from what i hear. which is more interesting for me than just poly sci by itself.

Matt, so is it true you just get admitted into say the college of Letters and Sciences and not with a specific major?

Yes, that's true.

-Matt30

PEIS is hella easy to get into

how do you know CC2UC? (not to challenge you, just wondering what your basing that on)

Here are admission percentages from the different departments, but just because Undergraduate and Interdisciplinary Studies has a higher admission rate than Social Sciences, it doesn't necessarily follow that PEIS is "hella easy" to get into, since the individual majors aren't assigned percentages.
