Berkeley Supplemental Information - Question about repeated coursework

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could help me out here...

I am doing the "myBerkeleyApplication" supplemental application update, and I am on the first required document (UC Transferable Courses Summary).

The directions state:

"If you repeated a course because you earned a grade of less than C,
Do not highlight the course with the D/F grades;
Do highlight the course with the grade of C or better."

I have attended two different community colleges. At my first community college I took an intro to sociology course and got a "D". Since then I have attended my second community college and taken the same course and received an "A". Do I have to report the "D" because it was taken at a different community college, even though I have since then taken a comparable course at a different college?

if you are going to put the “A” grade and ignore the “D” grade on the update what i recommend you to do ASAP is bring a copy of your transcripts from your new CC where it indicates your “A” to your old CC.

step1: bring an official copy of your transcripts to the admissions office,they will put it in the computer system.

step2: look for a form at the admissions office that says something to the likes of, “petition to remove substandard grade”

Thank You…

There was a little voice in the back of my head telling me that was what I was going to have to do… but I was hoping I wouldn’t have to… Lot of extra work… Oh well…

Thanks again :-)
