The next couple of weeks she said but don’t quote me

In the meantime, where are all you other waitlistees giving in a deposit ? (It’s almost the deadline! )

I put in a deposit for LSA Honors at the University of Michigan.

^UM LSA as well. Honestly, I now prefer UM a little bit more than UCB after learning more about UM, since I received the waitlist from berkeley a couple of weeks ago

Just put in deposit for Northwestern.

fingers crossed when will the result be released? Worried! Via Email or myBerkeleyApplication? :-S

Hello everyone, I am in the waitlist and I mistakenly click the button of Appeal. I don’t want to appeal but the box called Appeal Status is in my application status page all the time. I don’t know how to make the box disappear. I am afraid that my chance of admission will be affected by the blank appeal application. Should I just leave that box there or I need to write something to inform the admission officers that I will not appeal?

I appealed just for the hell of it- i think the appeal dept and the waitlist department are separate so nothing bad should happen. I had the appeal box there too btw

I sent in my deposit to uc davis and turned down ucla.

How will I find out if I get an offer of admission?
We will notify students who opt into the UC Berkeley wait list no later than June 1.

Lol, I thought today we will get the result.

anyone hear back yet?

I don’t know about other people but I haven’t heard anything from Cal yet. This year there are a total of 13 kids got accepted to Cal in my school and none of them chose to enroll. I hope this pattern is similar in many other schools because therefore waitlist kids will have higher chances. What about your the situation in your school @swiftswimmer?

@MikeyChinlong In my school I know about 5 people who accepted the admission offer and 4 that denied it. 4 others were waitlisted.

@MikeyChinlong Know 3 ppl who got accepted to cal but all of them denied. I am the only one waitlisted and hopefully i’ll have a higher chance

In my school I know of at least 38 people got in and only about 10 of them accepted, which is historically low at my school (usually about 20 people enroll a year). I know of 7 people who are wait-listed, myself included, and two of them are going to another school.

I am just wondering… At this time,I have to work on my housing application and orientation stuff. I feel like I have to pay more to ensure that I won’t miss anything in the school I chose for now. Do not tell me that we actually have to wait until June 1st. A little freaking out.

Out of my school only 2 out of around 6 or 7 people are accepting. And the one other than me on the waitlist has withdrawn because he’s going to john hopkins. It seems like the turnout is low?

I appealed even though I was waitlisted and it said:

Your appeal for admission has been received and is under review. Please check this site regularly for a reply. We will do our best to post a decision by Thursday, May 01, 2014.

May 1st?? So hopefully we will all find out decisions soon

2 people got accepted into my school (international school in China), and the other person is going to another school. As far as I know, 2 people were waitlisted. I’m really anxious for my friends to get in so I can request them as roommates…

Has anyone heard whether anyone’s been accepted off the waitlist yet? And if yes, were they in-state or OOS/international?
