Best Advice A Teacher Ever Gave You

<p>The latter was about figuring out what homework would actually be valuable to my individual learning, and doing that, rather than just blasting through a list of assigned problems (that were not being collected for a grade)</p>

<p>Your grades don’t say much about you as a person.</p>

<p>So far in the year:</p>

<p>“If you’re done early, it means you didn’t do a good enough job.” (my favorite)</p>

<p>“ALWAYS look busy, even if you’re not.”</p>

<p>“Don’t be a doorknob.”</p>

<p>“Do your work.”</p>

<p>He was a pretty straightforward guy.</p>

<p>“Don’t tell anybody about what we do after school.”</p>

<p>^Yes, I’ve heard that one before. She was 28, I was 11.</p>

<p>Focus on winning each battle before you stress about winning the war.</p>

<p>Never go into a class without your work stapled already.
Stop freaking out in life. If you fail a high school class, you’ve still got the rest of your life to succeed.
Life’s too short for crack.
If you don’t give everything your best effort every single time, you’ll never achieve your full potential.</p>

<p>My AP Chemistry teacher once told me “Yes, this class will probably kick your a**, but I guarantee you will walk out of here better prepared for college than ever.”</p>

<p>Hasn’t let me down since.</p>

<p>“Stop and smell the roses” </p>

<p>My favorite 3rd Grade teacher told me this. She had a heart attack and died last year. I will never forget that, she actually wrote it in my yearbook because she knew I was at the top of her class and a hard worker so she told me not to forget to stop and smell the roses. I still work hard today but I always find time to balance work with play.</p>

<p>“Even If i’m torn to shreds, I’m taking Sasuke back from Orochimaru!”</p>

<p>‘You’re gonna’ go somewhere some day, I can see it. Please, promise me you will continue to stay true to who you are?’
Then she hugged me and I said goodbye</p>

<p>“There’s no ASS in Math.” (Ie SAS,SSS,ASA, but no ASS) haha</p>
