Yeah, it's such a great movie
hahaha, i felt really sorry for the girl though, THAT HURT!

my school, but I can't name it for obvious reasons

Miss Porter's. Farmington is also a lovely town. Transportation to train, bus, and airport is also pretty easy.

hellooo? MADEIRA, anyone?!

definitely the PREMIER all girls boarding school. hands down.

I applied to Emma Willard & Miss Porter's. I'm in love with both, but like porter's a bit better because their sports teams are a little more competitive. However, Emma is now giving out International Scholarships which means a ton of diversity soon to happen. I will be making pro-con lists shortly, well depending on the fate that will be dealt in a mere 10 days. bites nails

Are we talking about the Jane Fonda who:

visited North Vietnam and posed on a NVA anti-aircraft gun while her country was at war...

married that blowhard Ted Turner...

hasn't made a good movie since she had a cameo in "On Golden Pond"...

railed against plastic surgery for years and then had ten facelifts...

used the "c-word" on national television two weeks ago...

Yeah, I'm impressed.

Not.

wow, you sure have very strong feelings ..................why?

Don't they teach reading comprehension there in Queensland?

Why dont you like Jane Fonda?

hahahahahahaha

I take it back -- I love Jane Fonda. Barbarella is a great movie.
So is Barefoot In The Park.

I would vote for emma willard.

Emma Willard, the only All girls school I even considered.

im going to be one to support emma willard too.

Sounds like an Emma Willard love fest.
I'll vote for Miss Porter's, seconded by Westover!

Hooray for Emma Willard!
:D

Miss Porters!!!!!!!!

Miss Porters, my cousin went there!

Miss Porters (aka Farmington to us in the know)

but the private day all girls are like 100x better - in fact, most of them have higher Ivy %s and SAT scores than Exeter, Andover, St. Paul's et al.
Ex: National Cathedral School and Holton Arms in D.C.
and in New York, Spence and Brearley are the best, followed by Chapin and Nightingale
