best dorm choice for me?

I took a year off after high school and Im transferring to Bloomington next year (my sophomore year). Im just curious weather or not there was a dorm that was a real freshmen magnet. I have heard about the apartments being popular with graduate students, I just wasn’t sure if there would be many other 20/21 year olds in the dorms..and in all honesty I dont wanna be the person people go to begging for alcohol..haha

Most of the dorms house mainly freshman. Usually one requests a neighborhood not a specific dorm. For current students this rule does not apply though. Perhaps that holds for transfers also??? If by some chance you can request a specific dorm I would recommend Eigenmann since it has a mix of undergrads and grad students. You also might consider checking out Wilkie.

Since I believe you can still only request “neighborhoods”, you should know that Eigenmann is in the Central “neighborhood” and Wilkie is in the Southeast “neighborhood”.
