how can you not go with ikea?

Those are all great suggestions. Any good advice for what I should buy used vs. new?

I like Target the best.

For shipping stuff:

Amazon with a student .edu email account - free year of Prime two day shipping
Walgreens will ship all sorts of personal care stuff, free, with a $25 purchase

BBB target wal-mart amazon sears any other dept store

if you’re going to buy a duvet or comforter, do NOT buy it off BBB, target, wal-mart, or amazon. IKEA is THE PLACE TO GO for comforter/duvet/blanket things. you don’t want to overpay for synthetic ********

I got a lot of my stuff from Wal-mart/ Target, and a few things from Bed Bath and Beyond

Target, Ikea, and Pottery Barn (Teen or Regular).

As for what to buy used, I would say anything that doesn’t touch you (I wouldn’t buy a used mattress, sheets, pillows, blankets, etc).

Microwaves and minifridges are good second-hand.
