What's the best store(s) for dorm shopping?

Target? Bed Bath & Beyond? Department stores?
A little bit of each?

wallmart. you don’t need highend stuff.

Target, and department stores for nicer stuff.

Target. I’ve just always preferred Target

And it’s true, don’t spend a lot of money on stuff. Usually there’s a ton of stuff just sitting around that’s perfectly fine for college.

Bed Bath & Beyond is fun to look at, but their stuff was insanely too much whenever I’ve looked at dorm/apartment stuff there. Department stores might be worth it if they have a big sale going on.

I went to TJMaxx today and they had a bunch of nice Bedding sets for Twin XL dorm beds. The sets include a comforter and a set of sheets. Our local TJMaxx had a bunch of Roxy brand, Tommy Hilfilger, and Ralph Lauren bedding. All were reasonably priced. They had plastic shower caddies for $3.99.

It’s easy to go overboard when shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Be careful not to “impulse buy” there because they have so many random cutesy things that one might think will be useful but really aren’t. I don’t really like shopping there because I tend to find things cheaper at other stores.

You can find almost everything you need at Target.

Kohl’s had a nice selection with good prices

Target works well for me!!

I already went to Target! Tomorrow will be BB&B! I have a 20% off coupon and a $5 off too!

Oh! Kohl’s! I forgot about that one! They’re apparently having some sale, should go too! Thanks!

TARGET! Superrrr cute and cheap! Other than that, Walmart for essentials and maybe UrbanOutfitters or Pottery Barn Teen for splurges? Boy could I have a shopping spree at PB Teen…

I agree with Target! I’ve already gotten most of my dorm stuff there and it was really cute & cheap! I got my carpet (6x12, unbound) from a carpet store for $35. I’ll probably get a few things from Walmart too, but I didn’t like their bedding stuff as much as Target’s.

MACYs had a big sale recently so I got my bedding and towels then…other than that just CVS and Staples for any school supplies/shampoo, soap, etc

I shopped mostly at Target and Walmart. Sometimes I wanted more spefici items, which I got from Amazon.

Department stores like tj maxx and Marshalls. Internet for other things. You really don’t need to buy too much. You can use queen bedding or just twin. Maybe an outlet thing and a shelf, pretty much everything else you have laying around your parents house.

Target and TJ Maxx. I don’t think I really shopped anywhere else for my dorm needs.

Ikea is the sh1t. Seriously, their prices are really good, they have awesome stuff, and they have ABBA playing all the time.

And swedish meatballs in the cafeteria.

Target is a great place to go for dorm needs. Plus they always have furnishings that are in cool funky designs that are exclusive to Target.

I bought most of my stuff from there and Pier 1.

I got my comforter today from Kohl’s, I’m ordering sheets from PB Teen, and I got a lot of accessories, like lamps, etc from Target, as well as my towels. Target has some really cute stuff that’s inexpensively priced!

You should wait a little longer for the back to school sales which is when they start making special sales for college students
I’ve seen target have good sales
bed bath and beyond has good items but its slightly more expensive

I like Wal-Mart, Target and BBB.
