Hey guys, what are some of your best dorm or roomate stories?

The best is when my RA had been threatening to throw a bucket of water on anyone who would not leave the dorms during a fire alarm. He would be holding a bucket of water while he checked the floor for any stragglers. Well, we actually had no one this time. I was outside with the rest of the building, but we were supposed to be at the rendevous point so that all the RA's could make sure that people were out of the building. But everyone would just leave closests to their rooms.
I was chatting with this girl, it was like 3am, dark and foggy outside. So the RA dumps the water outside the window. He soaks her and wets me and a few other people.

All you could hear was her screaming, so funny.

We took some of the gross food that had been in the fridge for too long, mixed it into a horrible goo, and fired it out the kitchen window at the west parallel (my dorm is two long thin parallel buildings) with a giant slingshot that takes three people to operate. One guy misfired and hit our window instead, splattering the goo all over everything. We made fun of him.

Did you know that dousing a wooden kitchen table in kerosene and setting it on fire gets all the disgusting hardened crap off? Yeah.

We occasionally have "Fight Club" in the hallway. It's more "Wrestling Club" than proper Fight Club, people challenge each other and go at it until someone gets a pin or gives up. It's a great way to let off pent-up stress.

For dorm rush my dorm built a wooden roller coaster in the courtyard, and our university's president rode it! Here's a picture. Here's another picture with me in the background (in the black shirt with yellow letters).

My dorm also built the disco dance floor.

My hall built this thing in our blacklight lounge that serves as a workbench or study table most of the time, and a stage + stripper pole during parties. It is awesome.

The motorized couch.

The Time Traveler's Convention. Oh god, the Time Traveler's Convention. It got on the Today Show and in the New York Times, among others. I think there was also a spot on NPR. I was a security guard and media handler at that thing. It was an adventure.

Dang i was going to be the first one who makes moving couches (or recliners really) that's awesome
