Best IE jobs

Hello, i am currently a junior at Purdue Univ #2 in industrial engineering.

My gpa is somewhat low, 2.9. I interned at a manufacturing company last summer, and I dont think it's what I want to do for the rest of my life, although i'm sure i'll finish up my IE degree no matter what, even if i dont want to do manufacturing.

Purdue's curriculum for Industrial Engineering is focused around manufacturing, as opposed to Cornell's which is more Operations Research focused. I know with OR you can go into banking and etc., but what are some of the best companies I can work for if i dont want to do manufacturing? What are some of the best jobs?

Thanks.

? ?? ? ? ? ?

Interesting... at UC Berkeley there is a major that combines both of those phrases: IEOR or Industrial Engineering and Operations Research!

this question is REALLY broad, you say you don't want manufacturing, but you odn't say what field you DO want to work in.

IEOR is a pretty broad field, some students from Cal have graduated and hold an Investment Banking job.
