Best Jobs While In High School

Would a lifeguard job pay about $15.00 an hour in the Northeast?

Does this look good on a college app?

I'm thinking about applying to Blockbuster or Walgreens

cdi... my friends that are lifeguards make $9/hr (and I live in the northeast)

I am thinking about next summer, after my first year of college, of applying for work at Cedar Point because then you can live there for a small fee out of your pay, and on your off nights they sometimes offer Park Nights where you get free entry. And they have Soak City parties and picnics and special employee freebies and game nights and movie nights with the lazer show screen and such. It sounds really nice, and for like $6.50 or so an hour for like, eight hour days for four or five days a week, that's a fair job when you get to practically live at Cedar Point. The only trouble is it would be at the same time as my big Harry Potter 7 release, and I can't miss that. I actually took the Saturday the sixth book was released off from my job so I could pull and all-nighter that Friday night and then finish that Saturday (I go to the Midnight Parties, and I am not missing one for the final book).

There's always the summer after sophomore year. Or Disney World.

For you FedEx people and stuff, do many girls ever work in the back like that, lifting the boxes? Is it possible for girls to do it, or does the company only seek men?

I had completely forgotten about Cedar Point...that is one of the things I want to do during college summers, that is, if I'm not taking courses or doing research

Better yet, Disney World . . .

Anybody ever work at a Hollywood Video or at an F.Y.E. cd/dvd store? What was the work like and the benefits?

How do you apply for a job at online tutoring sites?

I'm know I'm too young but I'm just curious. :)

Puller at the Gun Club.

You get to meet lots of interesting 50 year old men, you glow under a blacklight when you're done working, plus no taxes.
