Best Journalism Grad schools NY++

Hi,

I do have a MSc in Management, however decided to pursue journalism. I would preferably want to study in NYC, but would consider for instance Boston, San Fransisco and places close to NY, plus Ivy League.
I received this link with Journalism programmes for East coast. Who could tell me what are the best options, apart from Columbia, NYU (and Cornell, but too scientific). I'd like to write on various topics in newspapers, maybe TV news later. (international relations, business...also feature articles).

Since I do have a MSc in business already, I believe that I can do a one year MSc or other type Master in Journalism. It is important, however, that the programme is hands on, that we learn to write, not only about the history of Journalism and all those kind of not so practical courses.
I would very much appreciate any help in this matter.

Norwegian, 28

University of California, Berkeley. Like Columbia, it is a hands-on journalism masters program. Stanford also has a graduate program, not as well established as Berkeley. Most Ivy League schools do not offer journalism, Columbia being the famous exception.

Northwestern University in Chicago is the other well known training ground for journalists. It's excellent in journalism. If you're from Norway, the weather shouldn't bother you. Chicago is a great city, so you might add it to your list.
