well, admittedly, i don't know how i would do my hair if it was curly, but i do know that people wouldn't automatically discount you if you did keep your hair natural or in a ponytail all the time.

the one thing i still find myself making snap judgments about is weight. while i do have an instantaneous negative response to someone who is obese, i consciously push that aside and interact with him/her as i would anyone else. after we've become acquainted, it's not usually an issue anymore. it can be hard to prevent those snap judgments, but one can certainly recognize that bias as unfair and superficial and try not to let it affect his/her actions rather than just acquiescing to the status quo.

curly is a bad thing unless it's those fake hairspray curler curls. now those are cuteeeeeeee

it's weird at public school. nobody cares if you're smart because the majority dont care about their education. maybe it's different at boarding school cause ppl actually care if u'r smart

Yeah at public school nobody really cares about the education part of it I guarantee you around 75 to 80% of people have never studied for anything in their lives when like the teacher give us study time for like 10minutes before a test or whatever all anyone ever does is talk

I currently go to public school, and there are some who care about education, but a good few who don't. Senay and theamazingjazmyn--maybe people are attracted to "beautiful" people, but if you have a bad attitude, or any bad traits (superficiality, fakeness, etc.) it can turn someone off as quickly as they were drawn in. Are you two the part of the 75-80% of kids who never study? If so, you probably should not be applying to boarding schools.

What you look like is not the most defining factor of who you are unless you make it. And if you go to all the trouble to make it the most important part of who you are, you are truly an airhead who tries to make up for a lack of brains or inner beauty.

Let's say you have a boss who is "ugly." Well guess what...he is probably making 10 times as much money as you, so you better respect him or you'll get fired. Respect is a huge thing, and who knows...your boss might be the nicest boss ever. And you would never know that because you judged him on his appearance.

yep! socializing time :) but i must say, i enjoy socializing time cause i dont usually have to study. or u can multitask and talk and study at the same time. or if you dont care, just cheat from the one over-achiever in your class also known as the know-it-all who keeps raising her or his hand for every answer. you know, that one that says "im smarter than you" if you're in an argument with that person. yep, like that's a good excuse. lol. who says that? you go to public school, that is not a good point, no one cares if you're smarter

"but I mean things like job discrimination and actually physically evading "ugly" people. " Haha. Yeah, I totally know what you meant. I'm first in line for a pretty carrot though. ;)

I thought Tom was pretty funny, and watermelons are fruit. Did you know in Japan they actually grow watermelons to be cubes because it fits better in a refrigerator? They're actually prettier than normal watermelons because they are all the same size, and there are no abnormalities. It seems like the perfect fruit for you.

Lol Toms a dude...either we look good or we don't. Its that simple, no make up or crap.. I mean you can be metro and do your hair all morning but still. And hes not mean lol, hes truthful...he's english. No emotions in england..you say what you want! Not like in georgia, the south sugar coats everything and is so nice.

Yeah people are a lot nicer down here people up there don't really care about other people and their feelings here people will help like even complete strangers

STRANGER DANGER! Yeah well most people aren't bad but here in texas was where the amber alert was started. We're also the death penalty state I heard on the news this morning that out of the 8 executions scheduled this month in the U.S. 6 are in texas how's that for southern hospitality? :)

Well polititians aren't exactly filthy rich. The bush family is living off of old money. Old money that was used to help hitler and the nazis I might add..

Do you have any idea how much money this war has made him he owns oil places in texas and when foreign oil prices go up so do domestic so they've been making a
Lot of money and he still has ranch I'm just saying if I was him I would get a bigger nicer looking house
