Best match for VA universities?

I have a 3.0 GPA for all 4 years, (not precise, could be higher or lower. My score on the SAT was 1250 and ACT composite was 19.

Yes they are pretty low. I have had a lot of struggle during my high school years. I am considering community college also.

But with these scores, which university in Virginia will I most likely end?

Did you consider Radford?

Radford, Old Dominion and VCU come to mind.

Radford and Longwood.

I got accepted into Longwood but denied into ODU and VCU. I didn’t apply to Radford however.

Your SAT score looks pretty good. SO send the SAT score to colleges.

I don’t understand why you got denied from Virginia Commonwealth University. Your score is on the top side. Do you have a legit reason for the low GPA ? Should have mentioned that in your personal statement.

I see your post is a month old and as we’re now past May 1 so you must have decided. Where did you opt to go?

Accepted to Longwood and waiting on Marymount

@XtremePower I was done with my application but when I was at the payment I was doing something else and after payment it said it was timed out. I wasn’t sent anything or notified that the application was sent upon knowing a month later that I was denied admission.

@XtremePower to VCU

Congrats on your admission to Longwood, ec.

Thank you, bookmouse. :)

If you had to fall back on a cc it would’ve be OK, but the kids I know attending Longwood appear to like it, and if Marymount also comes through for you you’ll be spoiled for choice. At least you have a lock on a decent place to go to next term. You did fine. Congratulations!

@Vot123 I’m avoiding CC, I’m not gonna waste two years there. I thought Marymount would be alright considering that it’s closer to home.

Oh well, I hope I like Longwood as well. Thanks so much. :)
