"Real and Complex Analysis" by Walter Rudin

This will help boost your ACT score significantly.

Hey buddy... that's $160 book.. any cheaper suggestions, perhaps? :)

worth every dollar. raised my score from 11 to 17.

I used them all. got a 25 math first time, took it again and got a 34.

wow chocolatealtoids, that's awesome. Can you elabourate on exactly what you did? What was the time period of that score gap? Which books specifically/? How much time did you spend studying each day? How did you study? What math class are you in?

Please give us some hope! :D

zdub08.. are u serious.. u think that math textbook.. supposed 160 bucks..improved your grade from 11-17?

dude.. honestly..if u read Princeton Review and know how to do every single problem... u should get at least a 25 on the math section... and for intellectual thinking... meaning how to save time and doing problems the faster way.. u can reach up to 30+

intellectual thinking = knowing how to save time on standardized tests?

my post was a joke, as was the first post that mentioned that book.

Have any one tried the McGraw Hill, I need to know more ACT, since I am shipwrecked in SAT. If I shipwrecked in ACT and I may only have to take ISL
