Basically, I am currently a junior at a huge southern state school. I really want to transfer to a better program. I know it will mean repeating a year but I'm fine with that. I feel the benefit from having a better school name far outweighs this cost.

Unfortunately, I screwed up freshman year and consequently suffered for it. Since then however, I have been on the Dean's List every single semester and have a 3.8 since then.

Here are my stats:

High School:
British High school, completed GCSE's but not A levels as my family moved to the U.S and for some reason the high school insisted that I was supposed to be going to college and not high school (I'm a year younger than everyone)

College:
3.3 Cumulative GPA
3.8 Major GPA (about 10 A's and a C+)
740M 690CR
Can probably get a very good rec

Realistically, where should I be aiming? I was really hoping to hit Cornell or Columbia but I definitely feel Columbia is out of my league and tbh Cornell probably is too.

Thanks in advance.
