<p>I'm in an AP English class but my teacher never really gives us practice for the AP exam. She just gives us books and essays (although I can see how this may help). Anyway, I need to know what the best prep book is for this exam.</p>

<p>I would say cliff's for AP English Lang... most practice tests and their level is on par with AP Eng test.so. and I took the test last year and got a 4 on it.</p>
<p>I believe my teacher gave us MC sections from 5 steps to a 5 and they helped. I heard Cliff's is good too. But I didn't do any prep and I got a 5. It's all about developing skills over time, so I wouldn't stress the prep much.</p>
<p>second what theoneo said. Make sure to get a LOT of practice with essays. as in a LOT.</p>
<p>english is my worst subject. altho my AP lang teacher is extremely helpful when it comes to writing and stuff, i don't feel like her class is THAT much of a help in terms of doin well on the AP exam in may. we constantly stress over her class b/c it's hard.</p>
<p>so what's the best practice/prep book for this subject? i usually lean towards PR. but i guess it's not the best for EVERY subject. any ideas?</p>
