I'll be taking AP English Language next year and am wondering what the best review book (ex. Barron's) is for this course. I took AP World History last year and used Barron's and found this book very helpful. However, I've seen mixed reviews about what is the best "review" (and I quote because I'll be using this book during the year to prepare for tests, quizzes, etc. and to just learn the information better) book for AP English Language. Thanks in advance, and any information helps!
As a side note: These are the AP classes I'm taking next year:
AP Chemistry
AP US History
AP English Language
AP Statistics
So if you have a good review book in mind for any of these classes, please let me know!

I also need a review book for AP Eng Lang & Comp for next year. Any suggestions would be awesome! As far as your other APs go, I would recommend USH Direct Hits in a Flash. It covers SATIIs and the AP test. I’ve heart great things about it.

For AP US History, apparently the American-flag covered AMSCO book is good as well. It’s more of an information book than a testing book, though. For English Language I wouldn’t really worry about getting a review book. I know many people (myself included) who did very well without purchasing such a book.

You don’t need a review book for English Language.

AP US- Definitely get the American-flag covered AMSCO book that MoreAboutNothing mentioned. Very helpful for both the class and test.

AP Chem- I used Barron’s and found it helpful

APUSH: Amsco and REA and Annenberg Videos are great too.

APUSH
Took approximately 8 practice exams and scored 5s on all of them. I used two books (may seem crazy but its SO worth it). REA has “Crash Course” edition 2 - extremely helpful study for big topics and everything that will 100% be on the test no matter what. I used the princeton review (big book) for dense reading along with my textbook. When it comes to be 2 weeks before the AP exam, you’ll read a chapter in one, then take notes in the other and visa versa. SO WORTH IT.

English Language
I had an amazing teacher, never used my book. BUT, if you want a sure thing, buy a book with a bunch of practice tests. Seriously we did a timed writing every week and a rhetorical multiple choice every week. Do that and when the time comes to take the test, you will have it down to a science. Study the terms so you can hit those “key phrases” the AP graders are looking for (especially on rhetorical analysis essays).

Those are my recommendations, good luck!
