It seems like people are gettin shot everyday down here. Never go there after 5 pm.

Where in Maine?? Tell meh!!

hahaha @ rhythmgaming. SO TRUE.

and i think california is perfect… specifically SoCal. i also love south carolina.

New Jersey - Jersey Shore, Princeton University, close to the beach

Basically, I live there so it’s all good.

Best place to grow up is the suburbs of NYC (Queens). You are in one of the most diverse cities with lots to do, and easy access to Manhattan. But I’m biased.

@Celaplusaimaple-near Bethel. My great-uncle has a summer home near some lake-ish type body of water. It was BEAUTIFUL.

I’m rather biased for Mass. Metro West specifically - it’s ACCESSIBLE. Seriously. Live in Boston’s Metro West and you can get to, like, any store you want in less than 45 minutes. And people are happy. Too bad I don’t live there :(. The pride here is CRAZY. But maybe I’ve just lived here too long :D.

Oregon!!!

Virginia has a little bit of everything- it’s hot and humid in the summer, and cold and snowy in the winter. We have the beach down in the southeast part of the state, suburbs and a major metro area outside DC, and mountains in the west. The state is very culturally diverse too.

States are super lame. DC FTW!

^^^^^ ah I see. I’ve never been to Bethel, but the last time I was out west (in Fryeburg/Bridgton - idk how close they are) it was really nice

^^^ For all of those reasons I dislike Virginia. >_>

Too hot and humid in the summer, too cold in the winter, the beach is too far away. It seems to me at least that the D.C. area also has a kind of crappy atmosphere; people are very opinionated here. The diversity is good and bad. Good because theres a lot of different types of restaurants and you can learn about different cultures. Bad because two out of three kids in my school speak English as a second language. Meh.

edit: Also, the great variety of birds wake me up basically every time I try to sleep in. And cicadas are loud and annoying in the summer time.

i have an idea! how bout best state hit/give? to determine it once and for all.

Im from Illinois but I don’t like it that much lol. To much rush, TONS OF HUMIDITY, we have bad governor, and we are ranked #1 in the country for most expensive school book sales at registration, yay! Not. The only good thing is Chicago is close to me and some parts are nice to go to, and it is one of the largest cities in the country. But it is stupid that they changed the name of the Sears Tower to Willis Tower. I will never call it the Willis Tower ever. We have been to Utah on vacation and is nice and calm and relaxing, I love it.

Massachusetts

^^Same here about the Sears Tower. I’ve never called it the Willis Tower, and I don’t think I ever will. You can’t just change the name of a city’s most famous landmark. :(

Texas ftw. We could secede from the US and still be alright. I’m pretty sure we’re one of the few states not in loads of debt cough CA, MA cough

coughtexas. religion. textbook. cough

@rOadTo3b

Amen to that (pun intended.)

Dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

Texas is seriously not cool. Two seasons: Bad weather and worse weather.

GA FTW. Maybe not Atlanta though.
