Hi I’m an incoming freshman with priority housing and I was wondering which suite style is the best, or atleast some pros and cons of each one, with things like distance from campus, how new it is, and activities available all in mind. Thanks for any help!
They all have similar layouts with individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a common area with a kitchenette. You should be able to view all the layouts on your Housing Portal now. Presidential 1 and 2 are the newest but are the farthest from the academic buildings. The gym being located between the buildings you might consider a bonus. You can Google “University of Alabama Campus Map” to view the locations of all the dorms in relation to the academic areas.
AFAIK, there’s no “best” suite-style dorm. They’re all in the same area. There might be a slight advantage to being closer to food. The room sizes are, I believe, pretty close to the same sizes.
