Does anyone have a guess as to the best time - when is the best curve to take the ACT? I have heard that June is the easiest curve. Or is it September because not many kids take it then. Any input? Or are the curves preset and have nothing to do with who is taking the test?

I’ve heard it’s the September one because all the kids who had hoped to get a higher score like higher than 25 or maybe even lower r taking it then so the curve is higher. the one for june was high though but I’ve heard from a lot of people that the september one is the best time.

Yea i agree best time would be September but, some opt out and decide to take it in the spring for junior year…

There is no best month…it’s all random and each test will be slightly easier or harder leading to fluctuating curves. If there actually was an “easiest” month, more people would take on that date leading to a more normalized curve. Every month will be similar and same months from different eyars are also different. The June 2011 ACT had a generous curve but it was also said to have a difficult science section and the most difficult math section to date. That won’t be true for all June tests.

Just take it when you feel ready but give yourself time to prep for a possible 2nd or 3rd testing.

There is no best time to take the ACT.

The day you’re the most relaxed and calm.

So never.
