grr the only thing i need to work on is vocab and i have Kraplans 500 flip book and Kraplans critical reading workbook which has vocab at the back. Is there another vocab book i should get?

oh yeah for the june sat i didn't spend much time on either of them kinda regret it so i dunno if those 2 are good

try kaplan, it must be better than kraplan...lol

i call kaplan kraplan cause it sounds better to me

Word Smart by Princeton Review

just do the sparknotes 1000 word list

1000 word list is too much.. waste of time.

Firstly, you might not see those words on the sat
Second, might not remember that word
Third, Which meaning is associated with the word

freevocabulary.com

except... there`s 548847372455 words (5,000 in reality) and it might be a waste of time... as theinfocenter said.

just do the kaplan list and know the words. and read 1984 or wuthering heights for good employment of the words.

^^^^^j/k

chances that the words you have studied actually appears in the SAT are very slim. but if you have enough time to spare for those few extra raw scores, go for it. Alternatively, master POE and you'll be in much better shape.

Don't get Kaplan. It's pretty useless to me that is. Don't know everyone else. I used this book, and couldn't seem to remember the words. None of the other books seem to help me at all. ^_^ Until I found one today and it helped a lot! :] This book is called Word Smart by Princeton Review. ^^ I hope that helps!

I studied the 3,500 hottest words out of the big Barron's book, but in reality I just studied the dotted ones (the more common seen ones).
