I need a list that will help me the most. no unnecessary/excessive words. something that will help me let the words stick to my head</p>

<p>Don't study from the Barron's. It has many useless words that you don't need.

<p>Direct Hits has been the best performer for the most recent SATs. You might want to look in to that.</p>

<p>Ya, direct hits is by far the best. However, I would still say that you probably should study it ALONG WITH PR hit parade or Rocket Review's list. I have only used Direct Hits and Hit Parade; however, a lot of my friends say that RR is decent too. If you do use PR and Direct, you only memorize like 600 words too!</p>

<p>Direct hits is easily the best vocab review book for the SAT. Nothing comes close.</p>
